No matter how educated or talented you are, your ATTITUDE will determine how far you would go in life. Be careful how you treat people you meet; you never can tell who would connect you.

What brings people to you and make them stay is your attitude and not your beauty. The reason why Rebekah got married to Isaac, the son of Father Abraham, was her attitude and not her beauty. Be humble!

When Rebekah was drawing water for the chief servant of Abraham, she thought she was giving water to an old man. But she did not know she was attending to a man who would connect her to her husband. Mind how you treat strangers!

As she was watering the camels, she thought she was watering an old man’s camels but she did not know that she was watering the camel that would take her to her husband’s house. Rebekah might also be thinking that she was attending to a stranger’s camel but little did she know that she was attending to her camels in disguise. Be kind!

No matter how talented you are, you cannot recommend yourself. Somebody must recommend you. It takes a kingmaker to make one king. David (the future king of Israel) was a talented harpist but somebody recommended him.

Joseph (the 11th of the 12 sons of Jacob) was a gifted child but somebody recommended him (pharaoh’s chief cupbearer). Until someone recommends you, you may not get there. The person you ignored or mistreated could be the one holding the key to the place you have been looking to get into. Keep pride away so that it will not rob you your destiny.

Keep relationships. When you cross a bridge, don’t destroy it; you might need to go back to pick what you forgot.

First impression matters. Mind how you behave when you meet people or do business with them the first time. If you treat them well, they will come back; if you treat them badly, they will run away from you.

Trust is like a glass; don’t break it because you can never fix it back…
