Once you have completed your registration you will receive a Reader Access Pass, subject to the Library's Conditions of Use
With your Reader Access Pass, you will now be able to make full use of our collections and services.

We usually only issue passes to those over 18 but in some cases we may make an exception. Please see our guidelines in the menu on this.
If you have lost, forgotten or need to renew your Reader Access Pass, we can help.
Renew your Reader Access Pass
To renew your Reader Access Pass, come into our Reader Registration office at Titan Chambers, Port of Spain.
Your access pass will be valid from the day you renew. If you have lost your expired pass we can still renew it.
- A one year Reader Access Pass can be renewed up to three months before the expiry date.
- A six month access pass can be renewed up to one month before the expiry date.
Note: Please bring an original form of ID and proof of address (National ID card, Driver’s Permit or Passport can be used). Photocopies of all documents are needed.
Replacing a forgotten or lost access pass
If you forget to bring your access pass, a temporary pass can be issued for a fee of $25.00. If you have lost your access pass and need a replacement, the fee is $50.00. We can only accept cash. In either situation, you must bring personal if and proof of address as stated above.
