On thinking outside the box..
“The world we have created is a product of our thinking; it cannot be changed without changing our thinking.” Albert Einstein
There is no box. If you are faced with limitations, it may be because you’re still thinking inside, or rather, outside the box.
But there is no box. There never was any “box” to begin with. It was an imaginary tool created to keep you well within the bounds of succeeding or thinking that you could indeed, succeed.
You see, if you stayed within the required confinements of the “box”, then you’d be no competition or no problems for those getting on with their lives enjoying success. As long as what you do is defined by the “box”, you won’t be able to develop your creative thinking faculties, nor will you be able to generate new and unpredictable ways of solving problems. Instead, you are on a limited and conventional path, that delivers just mere mediocrity.
Now even if you do as they tell you and “think outside the box”, you’re still confined. They’ve manipulated your thoughts and found a way to still control you, without directly controlling you. Management and coaches have told you “think outside the box”, but this still leaves you in the pre-conditioned thinking mode. You’re just now around the box and will still see the limitations in front of you (the “box”), and behind you (the shadow of the “box” and the image of another “box” being built whenever you experience just a bit of breakthrough.) It is in this shadowed area, where you will find limited alternatives to any problem. Of course, that’s their plan.
But where there’s no “box”, there are still more solutions to any problem!
So the sooner you understand there is no “box”, and you remove the measure of confinement around you, you become growth-oriented, and your perspectives and approaches of looking at any problem, will shift and open up new paradigms and widen your perspective of looking at the world.
Good luck tearing that “box” to pieces now!
