July is just around the corner and from here, it’s time to work out the specific assignments and projects that must happen in order for you to achieve your marketing/promotional goals.

Here’s an example. I broke down my own goals, and my individual tasks look like this:

- Write blog posts

- Create share images

- Create infographics

- Join and share to Facebook Groups

- Create content for the next 3 months

- Do keyword research

- Add keywords to blog posts (on-page SEO)

- Look for guest post opportunities

- Create YouTube videos

- Create new Podcasts for my series, “The Timely Entrepreneur’s Business Creative Series.”

- Start back regular posting in my Facebook Group now that the Launch is over

- Message potential customers in Facebook and LinkedIn Groups

- Join and share to LinkedIn Groups

- Host a giveaway for one of my businesses

- Do a webinar

- Make connections on LinkedIn

- Create email sequences, landing pages, and opt-in forms

- Create cold email sequences to potential customers

- Collect new stock images (or take original photos as I really prefer)...

And that’s just the start. This list keeps growing as I think long and hard about July onwards. When it’s this long, I break down my tasks even further into at least 3 - 5 manageable tasks, and I get to work immediately so that I can strike some off my long list.

How are you preparing for the coming months?
