Keywords: On Communicating

Dear Entrepreneurs,

As you set out to make those sales today:

  1. Make eye contact, but don't burn a hole through the prospect. Look the person in the eye to make a connection and to demonstrate genuine interest in the person and not so much the sale, then take periodic breaks, but remain focus on the face area.
  2. Speak up and speak confidently. Speaking with authority lets the prospect know that you are comfortable in your own skin and that you mean business. Remember, confidence helps sell your business.
  3. Smile. Smiling puts the prospect at ease. You are happy to make the sale, aren't you?

Note: People buy YOU, before they buy your business, product, idea, or service.
