Let’s just admit it, we all get comparison-itis. Yes, it’s a condition where we look at other Entrepreneurs in our field and we compare ourselves to them. How come customers are going to them, instead of buying from me? Why can’t I have sales like they are having? What are they doing differently? What am I doing wrong? What am I not doing?

We all desire success, but you're going about it the wrong way if you're comparing your beginning to someone else’s middle. On your own, you can develop certain attitudes and attributes that will lead to your eventual success.
Remember that we are our own worst critic, and to move forward, we must get out of our own way, change our mindset, and just proceed...

Confidence
Entrepreneurs that are successful aren’t afraid to put themselves out there and promote their business EVERY...SINGLE...DAY.
Lack of confidence is something I think we all struggle with at one point or another in our lives, and about our business, and if we’re not careful, we can absolutely keep back our success as Entrepreneurs.
To put it simply, if you lack confidence in yourself, it will reflect as a lack of confidence in your business and your customers will pick up on this.
If you want people to believe in the services and/or products you’re offering, and ultimately hand over their hard earned cash, then you have to show up, give insane value, and be authentic, so they can get to know, like, and trust you. (See THE TIMELY ENTREPRENEUR)
You need to believe in yourself, know that you have what it takes to put yourself out there and go after your dreams. Get out of your own way and stop self-sabotaging your business!

Set Attainable Goals
Many Entrepreneurs don't think in terms of Reality. (See THE TIMELY ENTREPRENEUR) List your goals for the next 3 months. Choose one main goal to focus on. For example, my goal after the Book Launch is to start registration for the online Jewellery Programs I'm offering. I will be focused on advertising, creating blog posts and being active on social media to build an awareness for the programs.
I admit that at times it's hard to stay focused, but you will only achieve the results you desire when you shut everything else down and do what needs to be done...even when you don’t feel like doing it...that's Entrepreneurial Self Discipline - a sure way to success!
Set deadlines with your team or your customers or your audience. This makes you accountable for what happens next. You won't procrastinate knowing others are waiting on you. You'd get right to work because your business's reputation is at stake.

Get Out
A big difference between you and your competitors is that they're out there! People are seeing them and people know who they are. They're in front of their audience, they're active on social media, their website is not dormant. They put themselves out there...Every Single Day. They've fought their fears, and pushed aside their doubts and did it. Talk about confidence needed to get to this point! I'm sure these Entrepreneurs researched and watched countless YouTube videos to motivate them and gear them up. You have to get in front of your audience; the right people, and you have to show up and be consistent Every Single Day. (See THE TIMELY ENTREPRENEUR). Yep, that's hard, especially for the introvert like me . But having a Visibility Plan helps!

What My Visibility Plan Looks Like:-
◦ Post in Facebook groups, answer questions, and offer assistance to those who need it.
◦ Post daily on 2-3 social channels. At the moment I use Facebook and Instagram.
◦ Do guest posts, and whatever else I can think of to get myself in front of my ideal audience.

Don't be discouraged. Take some time and build a plan that can work for you and your business.
Have a fabulous, productive weekend Entrepreneurs!
